Grab your bicycle, four-wheeler, or horse, get directly onto the Brookfield Mines multi-use trail that goes from Caledonia to New Germany, and from there to the Valley, Bridgewater, or Halifax! Enjoy beautiful, spacious tent campsites next to the picturesque Medway River.  Each site has its own picnic table and fire pit.  21 km from Kejimkujik National Park. Campground rules

Gateway Campground has no electric or water hookups. Firewood is available to purchase, generators are available to rent. Fresh water fill and dumping station now available. Wireless internet is available in and near the office building. Showers and washrooms in the office building are NEW FOR 2021! 

Also new for 2021 season is ICE CREAM for sale, along with a few camping essentials like bacon, eggs, bread, milk and ice.

Kejimkujik National Park

Recreation

Directly from the Gateway Campground you can access the province-wide rails-to-trails network for walking, hiking, cycling, horseback-riding, and ATV use. Rent kayaks or canoes and launch directly from the campground into the Medway River.
